A local woman appeared in Oakland County Circuit Court Thursday to testify in her breach of contract suit against her multimillionaire ex, Local 4 reported.
Margaret Horvath, 42, claims that her former lover, multimillionaire William Hubner, promised her a lifetime of wealth and riches.
Her dreams reportedly came to an end in 2000 when the couple separated after 17 years.
Hubner -- who previously went through two divorces -- owns the Fitness USA chain based in West Bloomfield. He also owns several homes, including two in California, one in Bloomfield Hills, one in Birmingham and a home in Windsor, Ontario, according to the station's reports. His estimated worth is over $100 million.
A videotape was played to the courtroom where Horvath is seen showing off the couple's possessions like an episode of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous."
Horvath (pictured, left) is asking for a total of $27 million, including a condominium in Birmingham, a Lexus 400 luxury vehicle and a $3 million cash retirement fund.
"He kept doing worse and worse things until I finally had to stand up for myself in court," said Horvath.

Barbara LaRose, a mutual friend of the former couple, testified that cash was part of the alleged deal between Horvath and Hubner (pictured, right), according to Local 4 reports.
"There was $3 million in a safety deposit box," said LaRose.
Hubner's attorney said Horvath's case was full of fabrications, and that there was no verbal or written promise to provide Horvath with a lifetime of luxury, the station reported.
The case resumes Friday in Oakland County Circuit Court. A jury will decide the outcome.
