Witnesses said the driver appeared to be traveling at speeds of over 70 mph on Buffalo Street when the car hit a large rock, lost control and crashed into Mitch's Auto Shop.

A 15-year-old passenger was reportedly hurt in the crash. The driver and another teen passenger called for an ambulance, waited at the scene until it arrived and then fled on foot, according to Local 4 reports.

The 15-year-old was taken to Children's Hospital to be treated. Local 4 learned he suffered only minor cuts and bruises and was expected to recover.

The workers inside the auto shop were not injured, but the crash left a gaping hole in the front of the business and debris scattered across the street. The car -- which police say was stolen -- also suffered severe damage to its front end.

Police continue to search for the two teens who left the crash scene.
