36-year-old Emmett Twp. man ejected, killed in 2-car crash Saturday

Police believe alcohol was factor in crash

MEMPHIS, Mich. – A 36-year-old man from Emmett Township was killed Saturday morning when he was ejected from his vehicle after hitting another vehicle on Braidwood Road in St. Clair County.

Police say the man was driving northbound on Braidwood Road at 12:49 a.m. when he failed to stop at Masters Road and hit a vehicle traveling eastbound. He was ejected from his car and died at the scene.

The four people inside the other vehicle were taken to two hospitals in the area. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash. The incident is under investigation.
