A driver was electrocuted Monday after crashing his sport utility vehicle into a utility pole on Detroit's west side.
The man got out of his vehicle after the crash at Fort and Livernois to try and remove live wires, Local 4 reported. The shock from the wires killed him instantly.The victim's name was not available.Police say you should never handle live wires and should instead stay inside your car and call 911.
