Authorities found more human bones inside a building under construction in Detroit on Friday.
The investigation started when construction workers found human remains in the elevator shaft of a building at John R and Edmunds on Thursday, Local 4 reported
"(It was) part of a leg and a foot. It was obvious it was a foot because it had a shoe and a sock on and it was just bones," said Dino Ruffalo, a worker at the site.
A skull, clothing and another shoe were also found in the basement of the building.
Forensic teams are trying to determine whether the victim's death was natural or whether it was a homicide.
Investigators believe the bones are from one person, Local 4 reported.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner's office are inspecting the bones and clothing to determine the identity of that person.
