Witnesses Say Gunman Approached Victim

DETROIT -- A man was fatally shot while filling up his sport utility vehicle at a Detroit gas station Monday night.
The 24-year-old man was at a Marathon gas station at West Warren and McCraw when the shooting occurred, Local 4 reported. Witnesses said the victim was coming out of the gas station when a gunman walked up to him and said, "What's up, dog?" and started firing shots.Nearly a dozen shell casings were left on the ground as a result of the shooting, Local 4 reported.Police are searching for the shooter, who fled the scene.Investigators said a motive for the shooting is unclear.The victim's name was not released.
