Two peacocks were found wandering in Oakland County's Brandon Township on Wednesday.

The young male and female birds were placed in the care of Oakland County Animal Control. Nobody has yet to come forward and claim the peacocks, Local 4 reported.

"We're hoping that the owner will come forward and come down to the shelter," said Shelley Grey, of Oakland County Animal Control.

Grey said the owner of the bird will need to bring proof of ownership to claim the peacocks.

A full-grown male peacock was rescued from a snow bank in the area last month.

Animal Control officers said they've found peacocks before, but never three in the same area, the station reported.

The two birds found Wednesday are said to be in good health. The adult bird discovered last month is undergoing rehabilitation.
