A former Southgate high school teacher was sentenced Friday for having sex with a student. 
Joseph Lee Brickey (pictured, left), the first sergeant of the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps at Anderson High School, was sentenced to up to 40 years in prison.He was convicted last month of having five sexual encounters with a 15-year-old student in 2003.Prosecutors said the incidents occurred during school hours at a motel in Ann Arbor.
