Unmarked Vehicle Found In Department Lot

Detroit police found an unmarked police car that had been missing since Friday, Local 4 reported. 
The black, four-door Crown Victoria was reported missing during an inventory check on Friday, but was found Tuesday in another Detroit Police Department lot.

Police said the vehicle was never stolen, but was just unaccounted for.The public was notified of the missing vehicle on Monday after police were concerned of recent reports of someone posing as a police officer and pulling motorists over, the station reported.Police said motorists should drive to their nearest police station if they are suspicious of an unmarked vehicle attempting to make a traffic stop.
