It was soaked with what police suspect is a flammable liquid, the station reported.A can of lighter fluid was also found near the home, but the men in the U-Haul deny being involved in the incident.Neighbors said the cross-burning was not a reflection of the community."It's idiotic to me. It's stupidity," said Randy Tracy, a Trenton resident.Police are awaiting the return of evidence submitted to the crime lab to determine if charges can be filed in the case.The burning cross has historically been a symbol associated with hatred or racial intimidation, the station reported.
