Hunt On For Alleged School Girl Rapist
Reported Attack Is Third This Year
Investigators are looking for a suspect in the attack on a 16-year-old girl, who claims she was abducted and raped by a man while waiting for her school bus Monday morning.
Police Investigate Alleged Rape Scene
Police said that the alleged attack happened about a block from the girl's home. The Cody High School student was waiting at a bus stop when she says the accused rapist approached. The victim says that she was dragged through the alley at gunpoint and forced inside a dilapidated garage where she was sexually assaulted.
The teen's mother said that her daughter ran home crying after the alleged incident and told her what had happened. She immediately called police.
A witness said that she heard screaming, but didn't see anything to pinpoint what it was.
The girl showed police the garage. Officers searched the scene for clues and brought in a police dog to comb the alley, but no trail was found, Local 4 reported.
Police were still looking for a suspect Monday night. He is described as 5-foot-4, 130 pounds, with a dark complexion. He was wearing a short black and blue jacket, red and black shoes and white underwear with black hearts.
There have been two other reports of school girl rapes this year.
The girl was taken with her mother to Children's Hospital.
