A bank robbery suspect with an identifying tattoo was arrested Friday in Detroit. Waterford police said the man arrested is responsible for robbing a National City Bank.
Andrew Jeffrey Webster was captured by police at a Detroit residence in the area of Schoolcraft and Fielding.
The 21-year-old was arrested without incident, police said.
One identifying factor about Webster was tattoos on both of his arms, including one that said "Dumb" on the inside of his right arm, according to police.
Webster was arraigned Saturday on a robbery charge and was given a $150,000 bond. He remains at the Oakland County Jail.
Police responded to a bank robbery at the National City Bank, located in the 900 block of West Huron at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday.
The robber entered the bank and handed a teller a note. Witnesses said the man was wearing a green jacket, black knit hat, black scarf and black gloves. He left the bank on foot. Police said there were no injuries and no weapons were seen. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
