Fourth Largest Crowd In Stadium's History Gathers

The rivalry between the University of Michigan and Ohio State isn't just big on the field. Judging from the attendance of Saturday's game at Michigan Stadium, it's big all over. According to the
Ann Arbor News, the attendance at Michigan Stadium for the Ohio State-Michigan game was the fourth largest in history.
Out of the 111,591 people at the game, 12 people were arrested, mostly on suspicion of being minors in possession of alcohol, the newspaper reported.
Tickets were given out to another 47 people, with most of the tickets for bringing alcohol into the stadium. Thirteen people were ticketed for urinating in public, and two for running onto the field.
Another 10 people were ejected from the game. Three people were ejected for throwing objects during the game.
Emergency medical personnel treated 54 people and transported 13 to hospitals, according to the
Ann Arbor News.
The newspaper said that Diane Brown, a spokeswoman for U of M, described the crowd as very large and rowdy.
