PONTIAC, Mich. -

An 83-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning in the 30 block of Henry Clay Avenue in Pontiac.

The elderly man told Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies that he had just returned home after going to the credit union and a gas station.

Two men confronted him. One pointed a gun at him while the other took his wallet containing $800. The suspects fled the scene in a red Chevrolet Cavalier.

Deputies checked the area looking for the suspects with negative results.

The suspects are described as two black men. One is 6 feet 1 inch tall, wearing a dark jacket hung just below his waist. He was also wearing a black ski mask and armed with a brown-handled revolver.

The other suspect is 5 feet 6 inches tall and he was wearing a short, dark-colored jacket.
