Bedford Township, MI – An 85-year-old Temperance man was killed Sunday when he was hit by his own pickup truck, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said.
The incident happened in the 100 block of Smith Road.
The Sheriff's Office said Milton H. Juers was reversing the pickup truck with the driver's side door open when he fell out.
Juers was hit by the pickup truck before it crashed into a utility pole, the Sheriff's Office said.
