Police: No motive behind shooting

TAYLOR, Mich. - A drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in Taylor left a 9-year-old boy injured.

The shooting took place on the 25400 block of Haskell. The 9-year-old by was hit in the arm. He was taken to to the local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Before the shots were fired, a witness told police they spotted a white vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus, driving down the street with its lights off. Seconds later, shots were fired into the home.

Police are asking that anyone with information concerning the shooting to call.
