Teacher, Board To Vote On Agreement

The teacher battle in Brighton may soon be over, as district teachers prepare to vote on a tentative agreement.The vote with the Board of Education will bring an end to a year of protests and staged sickouts.Under the new contract, teachers would have to pay a higher co-pay for medical insurance but get a salary increase.The Brighton Board of Education is expected to meet June 5 to vote on the agreement.
