Prosecutor: More People Could Be Charged In Boy's Death

Adoptive Parents Face Murder Charges

POSTED: Wednesday, May 31, 2006

More people could face charges in connection with the murder of 7-year-old Ricky Holland (pictured).

An Ingham County prosecutor has hinted that others could be charged as aiders and abettors to Ricky's adoptive parents, Tim and Lisa Holland, Local 4 reported. Tim Holland, 37, and Lisa Holland, 34, are charged with open murder and first-degree child abuse in connection with Ricky's death.

In January, Tim Holland led authorities to Ricky's body in a wooded area near Dansville in rural Ingham County. At the time of his disappearance from his Williamston home last July, Ricky's parents told police they believed he had run away.

A judge ruled that Tim and Lisa Holland will have separate juries when they are tried for the murder. Both trials are expected to begin in September.
