A manhole explosion has led to a power outage in Birmingham on Tuesday afternoon.The manhole cover blew off at Maple Road and Eton Street, according to Birmingham police. Fire crews were called to the scene, but no roads were closed, police said.DTE Energy confirmed there were power outages in the area, but the extent of the outages was not yet known.No further information was available.
