Google To Bring Jobs To Michigan

Thousands Of Opportunities Available

POSTED: Tuesday, July 11, 2006

Google Inc., is not only known as the information highway, but now as a future employer for many new jobs.

The popular Internet search engine company is coming to Ann Arbor to bring thousands of new jobs to the area with its Adwords Unit.

Adwords, which is the company's primary source of revenue, offers pay-per-click ads that are triggered when Google Inc., users search for certain words.

The company announced it will be posting thousands of new jobs starting at an average pay of about $47,000 a year, Local 4 reported.

The location, which hasn't yet been determined, is slated to open this fall.
