ROMULUS, Mich. -- Romulus police say that actress Yasmine Bleeth was arrested after crashing her car into a median Wednesday night.

Bleeth, 33, was in the area reportedly to visit her boyfriend's parents. She was unable to leave after flights were grounded at Detroit/Wayne County Metropolitan Airport in the wake of Tuesday's terrorist attacks on the East Coast.
Police said that Bleeth was allegedly driving a rental car eastbound on Interstate 94 near Middlebelt Road when she lost control and crashed into a median.
No other cars were involved in the crash.
The police report says that the actress failed field sobriety tests. Officers allegedly found four syringes in her purse, which was between her feet on the floor of the car. A substance in at least one of the syringes tested positive for cocaine, police said.
The former Baywatch actress was released Thursday morning.
If the test comes back positive, she could face criminal charges, Romulus police said.
