White Stripes singer and former Detroiter Jack White is selling his mansion.
White put his 6,000-square-foot Indian Village home for sale Thursday.
The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home is where White recorded the White Stripes' 2005 album "Get Behind Me Satan" in its grand staircase and foyer.
The home is listed at $930,000, which puts it at the top of the market in the historic, 100-year-old Detroit neighborhood.
Mike Kramer, the home's listing agent, said White put more than $200,000 worth of work into the house.
The home is located at 1731 Seminole Street.
It was built in 1914, designed by C. Howard Krane, who also designed Detroit's Fox Theater and Orchestra Hall.
White is facing criticism from Detroiters for his negative public comments about the city.
