DETROIT – A 9-year-old boy who was hit by a car Sunday on Detroit's west side has died at a hospital.
The accident happened at West Chicago and Mendota Avenue. Police say the child darted out into traffic.
The boy was listed in critical condition until he died from his injuries Wednesday morning.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and has been cooperating with police.
Police are still investgating this case.
