Actor Dax Shepard will throw out the first pitch Sunday before the Kansas City Royals-Detroit Tigers game at Comerica Park.
Shepard grew up in the Detroit area.
He is in town promoting the upcoming film "Hit and Run," which he wrote, directed and stars in.
Fellow former Michigan resident Kristen Bell, Shepard's real-life significant other, also stars in the film.
Shepard will host a question-and-answer session later in the day about his film at an area movie theater.
