Allen Park to eliminate police, fire departments

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -

Allen Park City Council voted Tuesday night to eliminate both the city's police and fir departments.

The cuts are part of the city's balanced budget for the next fiscal year.

Council members voted six to one on Tuesday to approve the budget.
