Annual Restoration of Michigan War Dog Memorial

Clean-up of over 5,000 burial plots, including fallen K-9 war dogs

NEW HUDSON, Mich. – The Michigan War Dog Memorial will host their annual restoration and clean-up project on Saturday.

More than 5,000 animals, both pets and war dogs are buried at the memorial.

Fallen K-9's and loving pets who lost their lives will be honored.

The event takes place between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm at the memorial located at 11 Mile and Milford Road in Lyon Township.

Those who attend are asked to bring gas powered week whackers, chain saws, wood chipper, rakes, shovels, wheel barrows and any other equipment that may be necessary.
