Authorities say a 6-year-old girl has died and a 36-year-old man was wounded in a double shooting in Saginaw.

TV stations WEYI and WNEM report the shooting happened late Wednesday. Police say the child was taken to a hospital, where she died, while the man was recovering at a hospital.

Names of those involved weren't immediately released. The shooting was under investigation Thursday by police.
