Body found in burned car in Eastpointe
EASTPOINTE, Mich. -

A body was found Saturday morning in a torched car in Eastpointe.

Police said officers responding to the report of a car fire near Crescentwood Avenue, off Gratiot Avenue, found the body in the driver's seat.

The car appears to be a black BMW.

An investigation is under way.
