A man is in police custody in connection with the murder of a 42-year-old cab driver on Detroit's east side.
Detroit Police say a thorough investigation by members of Homicide and Eastern District's Special Operations led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man at approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The male cab driver was found lying on the ground next to a taxi in the 20500 block of Goulburn Street, near East Eight Mile at 6:45 a.m. Saturday. He died at the scene, and had gun shot wounds. The cab's doors were open, and the engine was still running.
The investigation is ongoing.
