The Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office has dropped child pornography charges which were brought against a former University of Michigan Hospital resident.

That is because Stephen Jenson now faces federal charges. The university will order an external investigation Thursday night.

There was a six-month lag between the time child pornography was found on Jenson's computer drive and the time the charges were filed.
