Child rescued from 7 Lakes State Park by retired paramedic
Oakland County Sheriff's Office says boy, a Flint resident, is expected to be OK

A 4-year-old boy was rescued from a near drowning Wednesday afternoon by a retired paramedic, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said.
In a statement about the incident, the office said the boy was pulled from the water at 7 Lakes State Park in Holly Township and given CPR and rescue breaths by the paramedic who was in the area.
The boy, a Flint resident, was rushed to the hospital, where he is in good condition.
