The cider mill also has a petting zoo, fresh doughnuts, ice cream and pony rides. On weekends in September and October, you can also enjoy knackwurst, hot dogs and cinnamon almonds. 2. Each weekend from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Blakes holds their "fall festival" with train rides, hay rides, pony rides, straw maze, story book barn, animal petting farm, barnyard funland, cornfield maze, straw mountain and more. Their cider is only made from fresh hand-picked honey crisp apples. The mill also makes their own special cinnamon spice doughnuts, candy apples, baked goods. They also sell pumpkins up to 150 lbs in size. Other products include honey, various cheeses and sparkling cider. 4. Paramenter's Northville Cider Mill 714 Baseline Rd. Northville, Michigan 48167 248-349-3181 northvillecider.com Hours of operation: Daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Paramenter's Cider Mill is the second oldest continuously operation business in the city of Northville. Along with the regular cider, doughnuts and caramel apples, they also have a winery that has been in business for over 20 years. Their apple wines such as Crimson Dew and Cranberry Apple are award-winning. 5. Diehl's Orchard & Cider Mill 1479 Ranch Rd. Dielh's has been open for 50 years and They have a full stocked general store/market on site. The cider mill will host their 30th Annual Ciderfest on Sept. 24 - 25, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. The Ciderfest will have a craft show, a "Ciderfest Run," face painting, hayrides, a corn maze, live entertainment and more.
