DTE Energy: Winds knock out power to 3,000 across Metro Detroit

DTE Energy says high winds have knocked out power to thousands across SE Michigan

DETROIT – DTE Energy says 3,000 customers were without power Monday evening due to high winds.

The customers are scattered throughout Metro Detroit.

That number is down from 18,000 customers without power Monday morning, DTE says.

The electric company says families should have the lights back on by the end of Monday.
