Dad of 9 ordered to stop having kids
Wisconsin man owes nearly $100,000 in back child support
A judge in Wisconsin ordered a father of nine who's behind on his child support payments to not have anymore children until he can prove he can support them.
Corey Curtis, 44, fathered the nine children with six different women, The Associated Press reported.
He owes nearly $100,000 in back child support and interest.

At Curtis' sentencing, Judge Tim Boyle said he wished he had the authority to order sterilization for the man.
"Common sense dictates you shouldn’t have kids you can’t afford," Boyle was quoted by the Racine Journal-Times as saying.
"It’s too bad the court does not have the authority to sterilize," said Judge Boyle
It's not clear what would happen to Curtis if he fathered another child, but he says he plans to abide by the order.
