Dad promises daughter $200 to quit Facebook

A father has promised his daughter $200, if she takes a break from Facebook.

14-year-old Rachel Baier made a deal with her dad to stay off the social media site for five months in exchange for a $200 payment.

Rachel was considering quitting the social media site and suggested her father give her $70 to do so.  They decided on a $200 reward, if Rachel could stay off Facebook for five months. 

Rachel is an honors student and believes Facebook can be distracting.

The 14-year-old and her dad even signed a contract, which will end on the last day of the school year.
