KIMBALL TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 66-year-old Port Huron woman was killed in a two vehicle crash Friday afternoon.
The crash happened at the corner of Gratiot and Range roads in Kimball Township.

According to deputies, Janice Messmer was northbound on Range and failed to stop at a red light and was hit by 51-year-old driver, Cynthia Kryziak of St. Clair.
Messmer was first taken to Mercy Hospital in Port Huron but was later moved to Beaumont Royal Oak where she died of injuries sustained in the crash.
Kryziak did not suffer any major injuries.
