Published On: Nov 15 2011 08:47:25 AM EST Updated On: Oct 11 2009 06:41:31 AM EDTA deer took a leap through a window at a local restaurant Sunday, making lunch a bit more animated for diners.
Surveillance cameras were rolling as the deer broke leapt through a window at L. George?s Coney Island on Grand River Avenue in Livonia just after noon.
Watch:
The deer crashes through the window, runs through the restaurant and pushes its way through the front doors -- all under 10 seconds.
Waitress Jennifer Ostrander said the whole incident ?scared the crap out? out her, but that she's glad no one got hurt.
Some customers scrambled out of the deer?s path, while others stared in amazement.
?I saw the thing running for me and it turned last second. I thought I was going to get nailed by the thing,? customer Zack Lumpshaw said.
There was a trail of blood from the deer, but no one knows where it came from or where it went.
The restaurant closed for the rest of Sunday.
