Detroit Mayor Dave Bing has been readmitted to Henry Ford Hospital.
The mayor returned to the hospital Wednesday afternoon as a simple precaution after experiencing some discomfort, his office said in a news release.
Bing, 68, has been recovering from his March 24 surgery to correct a perforated colon.
He was admitted to the hospital on March 22 after feeling discomfort. He was released on Monday after the surgery.
