Detroit Police Department's Eastern District evacuated for grenade
Bomb squad contains device, clears area at Gratiot and Gunston

The Detroit Police Department's Eastern District was evacuated Friday afternoon when someone dropped off a grenade at the building.
--Suspects who were in custody were led out of the building in handcuffs.
A bomb squad contained the device and cleared the area around the building, which is on Gratiot Avenue near Gunston.
