Detroit bus system plans more cuts
DDOT to discontinue early morning service

The Detroit Department of Transportation bus system is planning more cuts including the elimination of late night and early morning services.
DDOT plans to discontinue all bus service between the hours of 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Weekend service will be discontinued on some routes.
The changes are scheduled to take effect March 3.
Two public hearings on the DDOT service changes will be held Feb. 24 at the Northwest Activities Center.
