The Detroit area chapter of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee is hosting a town-hall style discussion this week on the November election.
The event Thursday at the Lebanese American Heritage Club in Dearborn is expected to focus on challenges and expectations at the polls as well as the Arab-American vote.
Scheduled speakers include ADC national legal director Abed Ayoub and diplomat Clovis Maksoud. Maksoud is a former ambassador of the League of Arab States at the United Nations.
The event is free and open to the public.
Dearborn has one of the nation's largest and most concentrated Arab communities.
