Local 4 has learned that the 3-year-old Detroit girl who was hit by a shotgun blast earlier this week has been released from the hospital.

Amyria Parham was shot in the arms and legs Tuesday evening outside a home on Cardoni Street on the city's east side.

Her mother, Latina Edwards, said she had gotten into an argument with a man and tried to get away from him by grabbing her daughter and getting into a van. But the man fired off a shotgun, which injured the girl with the buck shot blast.

Police have released photos of the accused gunman - Vernon Coles. Anyone with information on him to come forward.
