Detroit man shot several times in leg during drive-by shooting in Dearborn

Police say victim was driving on Lonyo near Brant when shots rang out earlier Friday morning

DEARBORN, Mich. – Dearborn police are investigating a drive-by shooting that sent a man to the hospital early Friday morning.

Police said a 46-year-old Detroit resident was going northbound on Lonyo near Brandt when another car pulled up next to him and shots were fired.

The victim was hit several times in his leg, police said. He is recovering at an area hospital.

Detectives said they are investigating whether the shooting is related to an earlier incident at the Crazy Horse Adult Entertainment Club in Detroit.
