Detroit police officers injured in crash

Officers, driver are OK

DETROIT -

Two Detroit police officers are recovering after a crash Sunday night on the city's east side.

The accident happened near Moross and Wayburn.

Police tell Local 4 a 47-year-old woman ran a stop sign and hit the marked cop car with the officers in it.

The officers and the woman were taken to the hospital for observation. Police say they are doing alright.
