Detroit police search for missing 21-year-old woman

Police say Vanisha Harris has been missing since Saturday when she was seen leaving her east Detroit home

DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for a 21-year-old woman who has been missing since Saturday.

Police say a family member last saw Vanisha Harris about 12 p.m. that day leaving her home in the 1400 block of Canton Street on the city's east side.

Harris is described as black, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, a light brown complexion. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark blue jeans, black boots and silver-studded earrings.

She has five tattoos -- "Vanisha" on her right arm, a plain butterfly on her right inner wrist, "Zoester" on her lower right leg, "Son" on the left side of her back and butterflies on the right side of her back.

She is considered in good physical and mental condition.
