For you early risers, if pre-dawn skies are clear and you don't have fog obstructing your view, step outside and take a peek at the Leonid Meteor Shower. Since there's no moonlight, skies will be extra dark, which allows us to see some of the fainter meteors. Remember that the farther you are from city lights, the darker the sky will be, and the more you'll see. We can possibly see 15-20 meteors per hour!
Some of us will start the day with very dense fog which, combined with subfreezing temps in some areas, could create a slick spot or two on a bridge or overpass…use extra caution if you're driving early this morning. The fog will then lift and form a cloud, before eventually burning off later this morning and leaving us with mostly sunny skies for the rest of the day. Highs in the low 50s, with a light south-southeast wind. Fog develops again tonight, with lows in the low 30s. Then expect another great day tomorrow, with highs again in the low 50s. Dry weather continues through Thanksgiving, with highs on Turkey Day possibly getting close to 60!
