FARMINGTON, Mich. – UPDATE: Farmington police say they have located Marlin Smith and he has been returned to his home safe.
Police in Farmington are searching for a 55-year-old man who has not been seen since Monday night.

Marlin Trent Smith was last seen about 9 p.m. Monday when he left his home at the Jamestown Apartments near Grand River Avenue and Halsted Road. Smith suffers from a closed head injury and is prone to seizers, police say.
His family is concerned because he has not taken his anti-seizure medications.
Smith is described as a black man standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing brown or beige pants, a green coat and a black hat. He goes by his nickname, "Smitty."
