Ferndale police said a man wearing only a towel was arrested Monday at a motel for allegedly confronting another man at gunpoint.
Police said a 47-year-old man who was staying at the Motorama Motel on Eight Mile Road told officers he was walking back to his room when 69-year-old Arnold Parker came out of another room, pointed a gun at him and called him names.
The victim walked away and called police.
Parker willingly surrendered to police when they arrived.
A semi-automatic handgun and a rifle were found in his room, police said.
