Fraser homeowner confronts intruder, holds him until police make arrest
Police say suspect had broken into home twice
A Fraser man came face-to-face with an accused thief in his home Tuesday night.
Tom Shock said he noticed some things were out of place in his home on Marcie Street. His dog’s barking also alerted him to something suspicious.
Shock said he was suddenly confronted by an intruder with a knife, but he fought back – holding the intruder down until police arrived.
The accused thief, 27-year-old Stephen Arms, was charged with home invasion and assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said he had broken into Shock’s home a previous time the night before and had apparently returned to steal more things.
