Services have been set for the Detroit woman shot and killed while dancing with an off-duty police officer.
Visitation for Adaisha Miller is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Hutchison Funeral Home in Detroit. The funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday.
Police say Miller was dancing with Isaac Parrish early Sunday morning when she hugged him from behind. His gun, which was in a waist holster, went off and the bullet punctured Miller's lung and hit her heart. She died at a hospital.
Miller would have turned 25 on Monday.
Detroit Police Chief Ralph Godbee described Miller's death as a tragic, "unfathomable" accident.
The 38-year-old Parrish has been placed on desk duty while the case is investigated.
